Storage FAQ's
Do you have Climate Controlled units?
Yes, we offer Climate Controlled units. The temperature is carefully monitored and maintained at 72-74 degrees year around. It is like storing your goods in your back bedroom.
What is a Climate Controlled unit?
Climate Controlled storage means that the storage unit is both heated and cooled to a set of temperature range. This process helps to dehumidify and remove excess moisture in the air and keeps your valuables protected from heat or cold.
Does Ed's Sheds Mini Storage provide locks? Can I keep a key to my storage unit?
Lock are available on site for purchase. You own your lock and you keep your key.
What are the differences between an indoor unit and an outdoor unit?
Indoor units are protected from the elements and Climate Controlled. Outdoor units offer the convenience of drive-up access. All units are on ground level.
What is a drive-up unit?
A drive-up unit has its own access. You drive up to it and load / unload your valuables.
Do I need to use an elevator to access my storage unit?
No, all units are ground level units.
Does Ed's Sheds offer long-term discounts?
Yes, we offer offer long-term discounts on yearly contracts. Ask our Resident Manager for more details.
Will I have any problem driving a big truck (tractor, trailer) on your property?
No, our property offers big, wide aisles and long truck access.
How do I calculate how much storage space I would need?
Our large assortment of storage sizes will provide you with the convenience of finding the right unit size. View details about available unit sizes.
If I rent a storage unit, can my family members or friend have access too?
You may allow access for other people you specify, especially in emergencies, which you may change upon request.
What are the differences between office hours and access hours?
During office hours, your on-site resident manager is available to assist you with your questions or accept rental payments. During access hours, you can access your storage unit.
What does "on-site" resident manager mean?
On-site resident manager means that our store manager lives in an apartment on the site for added security.
Do I need to give you notice when I move out?
No, simply empty and sweep your unit. Remove your lock and let us know when you vacated your storage unit.
Do you require insurance on my stored valuables?
As with anything rental you are responsible for the goods you are storing at Ed's Sheds of PCB, LLC. Insurance coverage is your choice. Check with your current insurance company or inquire at the office for other insurance options.
Do you carry moving supplies?
No. Not at this time.
Can I store my auto / boat in a storage unit?
Yes we do offer inside storage for autos / boats / wave runners, etc. These units are for storage only - no working on vehicles / boats is allowed. Stress free storage solution while you are out of town, or a convenient gas saver when you travel back & forth to your vacation home. Remember, some places restrict you from leaving auto / boat in your yard or parking area.
Active Military - when on tour of Duty, leave your vehicle(s) with us!

Our rental contracts are month-to-month leases. No long-term lease is required. You can keep renting the storage unit as long as you need it.
What kind of documentation do I need to rent a storage?
You will need to present a goverment-issued identification, such as driver license, state ID or passport.
Can I rent on the phone, or in person?
Yes, you can reserve by phone or you are welcome to walk into our facility and rent in person.
Do you offer any alternative payment option?
Yes, we offer electable auto-pay solution where your payment can be automatically charged to your credit or debit card.
Can I pay my bills online?
No. Not at this time.
